Dr Katherine Mellanby

Menopause and Women’s Health Specialist Clinic in Cambridge

Hello !

My name is Dr Katherine Mellanby and I am a GP Partner with an interest in the Menopause, Women’s Health and contraception.

I qualified from Nottingham University (BMed Sci BMBS 2002) and became a GP after completing my training scheme in London in 2010.

I have worked in London, Western Australia and Cambridge providing General Practice services with a special emphasis on Women’s Health.

I hold Diplomas from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRCOG) and the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (DFSRH). I hold letters of competencies in the insertion and removal of contraceptive subdermal implants and intrauterine devices.

I am a registered trainer for the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH). I hold a certificate in the Menopause Skills Theory Course from the FSRH and I am working towards the Principles and Practice of Menopause Care Certificate with the British Menopause Society.

I frequently talk to women who have struggled for many years with challenging symptoms. For lots of reasons they often haven’t put themselves first, and have battled on regardless.

Providing women with a safe place to discuss their individual difficulties can allow them to make informed, personalised choices that can make a huge difference to their physical and mental health.

I’d love to talk to you at Cambridge Women’s Health!
